Merge Pro

Merge Pro™ is not only fast, accurate and reliable, but it is also flexible in ways not found in other merge programs.

ACCURATE - Merge Pro™ utilizes virtually all of the tradeline data when determining whether two trades should merge. In all, it interrogates 39 different data elements (29 for trades and 10 for public records).

Merge Pro™ uses a system of weighted point values that are assigned to each of the 39 data elements. The program uses these point values to create a score for each potential tradeline combination. This score ultimately determines whether or not the trades merge.

FAST - It almost always takes less than 1/10 of a second to turn three average-sized raw infiles into a merged XML credit report.

RELIABLE - Merge Pro™ is extremely reliable because it contains virtually no failure points. With the exception of the initial disk read and the final disk write, everything is in memory. No third party software is required for Merge Pro to process successfully.

FLEXIBLE - Perhaps Merge Pro's greatest feature is its flexibility. The merge offers a blend, list & stack and two different flavors of pick & choose. Also, users can easily configure how this merge works.

The point values assigned to each of the 39 data elements (described above) can be modified by the user. This gives the user control over the actual merge logic.

The user can also easily modify any of the 107 definitions used by the merge. For instance, to change Merge Pro's default definition of an Experian Mortgage or an Equifax Collection, simply use the graphical interface to change it. The program allows users to modify these definitions using the actual values and codes used by the three repositories in their manuals (Equifax 5.0 & 6.0, Experian 7.0 and Trans Union 4.1)

The program also allows an unlimited number of merge configurations to run at the same time. This enables users to make customer specific changes to the merge definitions and logic without affecting any of their other current customers.

Merge Pro's flexibility enables repository changes to be easily added to the merge. For example, if Experian issues a new release with a dozen new Special Comment codes, simply determine which definitions are impacted and edit those definitions with our graphical interface. Anyone in your organization could do it and it would take only a few minutes.

EASY TO INTEGRATE - Merge Pro™ could be easily integrated into any existing application. The merge itself is a single executable. Simply specify the infiles, the configuration file and the desired location of the merged XML credit report as parameters to the merge. Merge Pro will do the rest.

PORTABLE - The merge was written entirely in the C programming language and can be run on any major operating system. It's already been ported to Windows XP, Unix and three different flavors of Linux - Red Hat, Suse and Slackware.

INPUT - Merge Pro™ accepts not only respository infiles as input, but also MISMO XML credit reports. This allows users to merge together an existing XML credit report with one or more infiles.

Here are a few of the many ways that Merge Pro could be used.

1. If turnaround time is becoming an issue in your current system, then process the case using Merge Pro and upload the completed XML credit report to your database immediately after it's been sent back to the customer.

2. Merge Pro is extremely accurate. It's a great tool for determining the accuracy of the merge engine that you're currently using in production.

3. Merge Pro could run as a backup if your regular merge or database ever crashed. Merge Pro does not need a database to process successfully. Actually, a server could be in a fairly disabled state and Merge Pro might still process successfully. It only needs to be able to read the input files from disk and write out the merged XML credit report to disk. Everything else is in memory.
